While "World Coming Down" is the most notoriously dark Type O Negative album and "Life Is Killing Me" contains multiple songs about Steele's father, they aren't the only ones that describe tragedy in Steele's life. The title track on the album "Bloody Kisses" is actually about the death of Steele's beloved cat Venus.

As the title suggest, The Complete Roadrunner Collection 1991-2003 is a box-set containing Type O Negative's first six albums. This includes Slow, Deep And Hard (1991), The Origin of Feces (1992), Bloody Kisses (1993), October Rust (1996), World Coming Down (1999) and Life Is Killing Me (2003).
